“TofC 1 through 7” Day (Two-Five-Zero-23 015)

In support of “Here’s What We’ll Do: Practical suggestions for working toward a marginally Better Future”

This Day has arrived at last! I’m publishing the annotated Table of Contents for the first 7 chapters today of the Our Better Future book, “Here’s What We’ll Do: Practical suggestions for working toward a marginally Better Future(For the book’s home page, Click HERE) on Facebook and Medium dot com. At first I created annotations that were *much* too long, so I created a second version, with “micro” annotations; now the annotations are *much* too long, but shorter.

I’ve come to realize that the liminal event I’ve been looking forward to for years is actually going to turn out to be spread across quite a span of time. I imagined there would be a day when I would publish “The annotated Table of Contents and the first draft of Chapter 1.” Then I’d have something to point people to, so they could get an idea of what I’m talking about when I talk about “my book.” A lot of the work is done for the rest of the annotations and the draft of Chapter 1. Today’s publications are ironing out formats and the like — things should go more quickly now.

Both versions of the Table of Contents (with Full and “Micro” annotations) are available on OurBetterFuture dot org and Medium dot com. Facebook will have just the “Micro” version, with links. (For the Tables of Contents on Medium, click HERE for Full annotations, HERE for “Micro” annotations.)

I had this to say back in March of 2021, shortly after my diagnosis, “I’m planning to make something of a spectacle of myself, which was always in the plan even before I had stupid cancer. Stupid cancer only increases the urgency behind my already-urgent projects.” (To view the post, Click HERE) This milestone is, really, the first concrete step toward what I meant when I said that.
