In support of “Here’s What We’ll Do: Practical suggestions for working toward a marginally Better Future”

I was recently asked by one of my loyal readers why these pieces have Two Five Zero 23 00x) in their names. Here’s why: they’re part of the 2023 edition of the 250-word pieces, this is the eighth of the year. The previous series started in January of 2021 (001) and ended in March of 2022 (022). Search in Medium dot com with “Two Five Zero 23” or in Facebook with “#TwoFiveZero23” and you’ll see previous installments.

I’m back from Mexico. I got a lot of work done. And stayed more or less on my 250-word posts schedule. I also discovered that my schedule is unrealistic. “Learn by doing,” that’s my motto.

I cut short my chapter reviews because I was scheduled to publish my first draft (Table of Contents), which I didn’t do anyway.

New Schedule: I’ve given myself more time — I’m now scheduled to publish the final chapter on my 64th birthday (When I’m 64?!), November 20th instead of September 1st. That gives me time to pick up the reviews where I left off, and devote more time to each chapter when I’m creating the drafts. And more time to do other things (like get the website into some kind of decent shape, create strategic partnerships, etc.) First publication is now April 28th.

I don’t know how many people are actually paying attention to these schedules — I’m taking it very seriously and feeling pretty bad when I have to adjust. Because, as I’ve mentioned before, there’s no time Toulouse.
